Christ our Living Hope!

General idea: God’s grace and abundant mercy is available to us both now and as an inheritance to come! This passage is about salutations and greetings, acknowledgments and hope. Peter writes to a group of struggling Christians, whose hope is on the verge of extinction and whose options are limited. These are mostly Jews...

Fear Not

I have felt compelled in my spirit to write about the things going on. There is much happening in the worlds financial systems and in our own country right now. We are having to bail out Fannie and Freddie. The stock market is in chaos, the cost of oil and food have fluctuated all over the place. Our 401K s have taken a big hit, many have lost a gr...

The Power of Prayer!

General idea: What are we to do first in all situations? Is it to complain? Argue with one another? Be stressed? NO! We are called to pray, as prayer not only sets the tone for our behaviors and insights, but it also brings Christ into the picture with us more powerfully and effectively. It is not about getting what we want...

We all have gifts and they should be used in conjunction with other gifts within the body to fulfill the plan and purpose of God within that local body. In fulfilling our purpose we not only fulfill the plan for ou...

Your Blessed Place
Posted: mejbaker @ Tue Sep 09, 2008 2:11 pm
I have seen so many Christians walk away from their God given place of blessing, that I have felt a deep sense of grief in my spirit. I know it must grieve the Lord. It should not and does not have to be this way.

I believe that the Lord has ordained us to walk in blessings, yet I don’t see this as I should within the body of Christ. If we are t...
