Matisyahu: Youth
An oddity unto him, Matisyahu brings something very special to the table. For those who haven’t heard of him, he is a Hassidic Jew that mixes the sounds of Bob Marley and Shlomo Carlebach to produce something so special and unique that it sets him apart from both worlds. He “raps” about life. Period. Of course, he’s looking at life through the eyes of G-d and through his own experience with the Creator, but he gives a message of hope.
