Description :	Word News Ministries Inc. was launched in 2002. It was founded by a reporter whose background includes work at The Boston Globe, The Associated Press, and such newspaper chains as Dow Jones & Co. Inc. and Gannett, and a CBS affiliate. Word News was created to help reporters more completely cover religious issues, specifically issues facing the Christian community, by improving access to religious sources. The nonprofit company was incorporated in July 2003.
