The Karunalayam (translated Home of Mercy) Trust started an orphanage in Thally, Tamilnadu, India. It aims to encourage numerous others to start similar prosocial model ventures through dissemination of information gained over the years. Though the Home of mercy orphanage has a long way to go to be called a model orphanage,it aims to encourage others to do their part in doing their bit in caring for the UNICEF estimated 163 million globally orphaned by all causes. |
